Among our models for men, we find the unavoidable brand Patagonia. It presents us among others full men surf wetsuits, with or without hood. These models are available with or without sleeves and arms, depending on the level of protection against cold water you are looking for. The choice will depend mainly on the season.

We also appreciate the long or short sleeve tops from Patagonia. These models are devoid of neoprene. The brand prefers a mixture of natural rubber Yulex, mixed with a small percentage of synthetic rubber. The result? Warm, thick wetsuits that effectively protect surfers in waters between 16 and 18 °!

The American brand Salty Crew is also honored. It presents a long sleeve top in lycra, for a 100% successful surfer look!

Rhythm and TCSS are also well known brands in the surfing world. On their side, we find zipped tops 100% neoprene, for milder temperatures from 19 to 25 °.

OUR WETSUITS FOR WOMEN

The Patagonia brand is also in the spotlight among women surfers! As comfortable as it is stylish, this range of women wetsuits and surfwear is the best in terms of gliding on the water.

The blend of 85% natural Yulex rubber and 15% synthetic polymer rubber, along with the Jersey lining, make these garments feel like a second skin. Perfect for water temperatures between 18 and 23 degrees, these surfwear models come in different shapes:

• Sleeveless and legless wetsuits
• Shorty
• Zip vest
• Short sleeve top

Want to surf in colder waters? Opt for the full wetsuit (without hood), which is perfectly adapted to cooler waters (16 to 18°). These garments are dyed in the mass, with a thickness of 2mm, and feature an elegant tight fit and patterns as discreet as they are aesthetic.

The "plus" of the Patagonia brand? Its investment for a cleaner planet! The rubber used for their wetsuits and other surfwear is renewable and comes from forests certified by the Rainforest Alliance. SURF SUIT : HOW TO MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE ?

Full wetsuit ? Sleeveless wetsuit and legs ? Shorty ? Zipped top ? Which model is made for you and how to choose it ?

The thickness of the garment is the first criterion to take into consideration. For water temperatures above 22°, you can opt for 2 mm (found on many Patagonia models). Between 17° and 21°, it is advisable to go to 3 mm thickness. The 4 mm will be required for cool waters, from 12 to 17°. Want to surf in even colder waters? The 5 mm thickness will be essential to protect your body when exposed to temperatures between 7 and 12°.

In summer, you can opt for the 2/2 mm surf shorty suit (2mm on the legs, 2 on the arms). The shorty-culotte models for women are also perfect in summer! In spring or autumn, you should opt for a model with arms and legs and a minimum thickness of 3/2mm for a good protection against cooler waters. In winter, 4/3 mm suits (4 mm on the legs and 3 on the arms) are recommended, ideally with a hood.

Your choice can also be made according to the amount of time you spend on the water. For short sessions, zip-up models, which are easy to put on and take off, are perfect. The longer you surf, the more you will need a soft material with excellent freedom of movement.
