Modom is an Australian brand of surf accessories. The objective is to offer quality and innovative products that allow you to have a good time and have more fun while surfing. Thus, Modom is aimed at professionals but also at less experienced surfers and stands out from other brands by its qualities in terms of innovation, modernity and progress.
Supported by a large family of surfers such as Taj Burrow, Craig Anderson, Noah Beschen and Dusty Payne, Modom products have proven themselves in the most difficult conditions.
Jack Perry and Pauly Garrad launched Modom in 2008 in Torquay, Australia. The two friends, frustrated to see very little dynamism and innovation in the world of surf accessories, decided to create a different, innovative and aesthetic brand. The aim was to manufacture technical equipment that would push the limits of surfing, while having an attractive design.
Pauly Garrad and Jack Perry started making Leash, Grip, Pads and other surf accessories. They are also developing a soft board model that has a self-gripping coating in addition to a very well worked and aesthetic shape.
Jack is at the origin of the first drawings and sketches, while Pauly is in charge of having the first samples of the brand manufactured. At first, the results were not very encouraging and the products were far from the expectations of the two partners. But after several attempts, they finally arrived at a correct prototype that they presented to Xavier Davies. He then joined the team and began designing the models that would define the brand.
Since then, Modom has created several product lines, all designed to help surfers get the most out of their favourite activity. The team works with a large family of professionals who bring a lot of innovation and creativity to the table.
This way of working gives a unique touch to the Australian brand and allows it to offer the most modern and innovative surf accessories on the market.
