Seea is a Californian brand created by designer Amanda Chinchelli. The brand expresses its love for the ocean through its various collections of swimwear, surf suits and accessories. The name is a nod to the Italian origins of the founder.

For Amanda Chinchelli, Seea represents femininity, musicality and beauty. So why leave your style on the sand? In other words, Seea is a progressive brand that celebrates the grace of female surfing, the magic of the waves and the rhythm of life. The founder takes the journey to self-discovery and the stories that inspire confidence.

Amanda grew up on the island of Ilhabela in Brazil until she was 10 years old. It was in permanent contact with its tropical environment and the ocean. Upon her return to Italy, her parents' native country, Amanda met her grandmother with whom she spent a lot of time. The latter taught her to knit and sew by developing a love for imperfection.

Amanda Chinchelli quickly developed an interest in fashion and a passion for design.

Swimsuits designed for surfing

She improves when she decides to settle in California. It was in contact with the waves and the ocean that she began sewing her first models of swimsuits for surfing. Seea quickly took off because the market for women's technical swimwear was very basic. Amanda Chinchelli quickly made a name for herself on the Californian scene and began to get more and more custom orders.

One thing led to another, she combined her design experience and water skills to create Seea and bring her creations to the women's surfwear market.

Today, Seea is a brand that is increasingly present on the American market but also internationally. It also opts for a healthy environmental approach. Favouring recycled plastic materials or Yulex, which is a natural alternative to classic neoprene.

Seea is therefore a brand of swimwear and women's surfing suits, design and responsible which is characterised by lines with a retro look and colourful patterns.
