Florence Marine X was founded in partnership with two-time world surfing champion and Olympian John Florence. They offer modern utility equipment suitable for all sporting conditions.
John is best known as one of the most influential and iconic athletes of his generation. A true modern-day pioneer, he is an innovator both on and off the water. With interests that extend far beyond the horizon, John's goal in founding Florence was to create equipment that met his needs in all areas of the game - true utilitarian sports solutions, precision crafted and focused on performance innovation.
John's homeland, on the north coast of Hawaii's Oahu Island, is their research and development center. It's one of the most dynamic environments on the planet, offering the most rigorous testing conditions imaginable for our equipment. Everything Florence Marine X offers has been abused, damaged and pushed to its limits until John and his team give the go-ahead to say it's ready for the general public. This can make the R&D process slow and painstaking.
